Open Source Research Experience Developer, MPICH, Argonne National Laboratory

May 2025 - August 2025
Mentor: Ken Raffenetti

  • Built standardized HPC OS images with Spack, Lmod, MPICH, and OpenMPI across CPU/CUDA/ROCm variants.
  • Automated HPC cluster deployment via Ansible — node config, SSH keys, shared storage, MPI hostfiles.
  • Developed reproducible cluster provisioning workflows using Python-CHI, Jupyter, and OpenStack HOT templates.

Google Summer of Code Developer, ArviZ, NumFOCUS

Contributed to PreliZ by adding new enhancements to the predictive methods ppe and predictive_explorer, and implementing posterior_to_prior. For more details, check out this link.

Software Engineer Intern, Medvolt

  • Developed FastAPI backend APIs for MedGraph, an AI-based drug discovery platform.
  • Built CRUD APIs for AIToolhouse, including chatbot integration and Amazon SES email services.

Google Summer of Code Developer, PyLops, NumFOCUS

Mentor: Matteo Ravasi, Yuxi Hong

Developed PyLops-MPI, a distributed-computing extension with MPI-based operators and iterative solvers for large-scale inversion problems. For more details, check out this link.

  • Implemented Bayes Network and Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) models to predict payment probability, enabling proactive collections and reduced bad debt risk.
  • Built a geolocation tracking and visualization feature to monitor customer locations on an interactive map.
